Block Party is a community app. That puts Events, clubs, activities, news, and civics in one app. We source from 150+ places — the city, businesses, schools, social media, and news outlets, plus posts from users — then curate a feed built around you. There’s always a lot going on, but it’s scattered across so many sources. Block Party bridges that gap.

Hey, I’m Jesse 👋
Some of you may know me as a neighbor, student, employee, barber, or friend. If we’ve never met, I’m a high schooler at ROCORI, and I’ve lived in St. Joe my entire life. I’ve worked at Krewe and volunteered at the Co-op, and I’m passionate about serving and building the community culture St. Joe has.
Every month, 200+ events happen in St. Joe — game nights, run clubs, trivia, family events. Most people only ever hear about a handful of them.
Block Party’s purpose is to promote community engagement by making it easy and simple to see what’s happening around you. Day-to-day life can be overwhelming. Knowing what’s going on in your town shouldn’t be. Block Party keeps it simple: everything in one place, so staying up to date with St. Joe is easy.
Right now I’m in the process of building the app and interested in public opinion. There’s a Google Form linked on the website right below, and every response helps. I’m anticipating an early spring 2027 launch on the App Store!
Thanks in advance!Jesse Johnson
